Burgundy is Trending Again!

At this time of year, we always see burgundy trending. This rich colour sits beautifully between red and brown and is incredibly versatile. Strictly speaking, burgundy features in the Deep colour palette. However, there are many lighter, softer, cooler and warmer versions of burgundy including Claret, Damson, Cassis, Berry Red and Mahogany. If burgundy isn’t in your colour palette, you can definitely make it work for you by combining with a colour from your colour palette and wearing your best colour closest to your face.

Here are a few suggestions:

• Lights combine with Cream
• Deeps combine with any Navy
• Warms combine with Taupe or Charcoal Grey
• Cools combine with Medium Grey
• Clears combine with Ivory
• Softs combine with Stone.

And of course, you can add burgundy to your wardrobe with accessories such as a burgundy handbag, belt or scarf.
